Help your family
talk about feelings.

A card deck for parents and kids. Each person gets their own.

Sound familiar?

Kids have the feelings.
They just don't have the words yet.

Honestly, most of us don't either — nobody really taught us this stuff. But when you can name a feeling, you can share it. And that's where connection starts.

"How was school today?"

"I don't know."

We've all been there. They're not hiding — they just need a way in.

"Why are you upset?"

"I'm not upset!"

We've all been there. They're not hiding — they just need a way in.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

We've all been there. They're not hiding — they just need a way in.

Feeling Cards give you both the words.

The product

Two decks. One for you.
One for your kid.

Your deck, their deck. Same feelings — just each person holds their own. It works because it's equal. Nobody is being studied.

Base Emotion Cards

40 cards

Core feelings like happy, sad, angry, scared, surprised, and disgusted — the universal emotional vocabulary every person needs.

Body Feeling Cards

20 cards

Feelings you sense in your body — tight chest, fluttery stomach, warm face. Helps build somatic awareness alongside emotional awareness.

Expansion Cards

20 cards

Nuanced emotions that come with experience — overwhelmed, nostalgic, proud, relieved. Grows your vocabulary as you grow.

Blank Cards

10 cards

Draw and name your own feelings. For when the perfect word doesn't exist yet — or when you invent a new one.

How it works

It's really this simple.

No script needed. No therapy degree. Just the cards — anywhere, anytime.

01

Pick a card together

Spread the cards out on the table — or just grab the deck. Each person picks the feeling card that matches what's going on inside them right now.

02

Pause, notice, name

Turn the card over. Read the description. Ask: “Does this feel right?” The card backs offer prompts and guidance to help explore the feeling more deeply.

03

Share your story

Tell each other what's behind the feeling. No fixing, no judging — just listening and connecting. This is where trust is built.

Works from age 4. No reading needed for little ones — the pictures tell the story.

What families say

The moment it clicks

Real families. Real conversations. Real connection.

After asking my son how school was, he gave that common 'I don't know' response. So I handed him the Feeling Cards to see if that would help. He picked 5 Feeling Cards! This was not a kid who didn't know what he was feeling. This was a kid who just needed the tools and the language to name what was going on.

Anne

Mom, son age 10

I light up anytime she's like, 'Can we do the feeling cards now?' It feels good that she's wanting to talk about this stuff.

Mike

Dad, daughter age 10

We use these at dinner time as a check-in. It's become one of our favorite family rituals. My kids actually fight over who gets to go first now.

Sarah

Mom of three (placeholder — real testimonial coming soon)
